Ann Burns

Pastor Ann Burns has served the Body of Christ in many ways in her 30 years of ministry. She is a teacher of the Word. She presents the truth of God’s Word in her way that is powerful, passionate, personal and prophetic. Her insights have helped steer the direction of Cornerstone Church and change the lives of those who have sat under her ministry.

In addition, she heads the music ministry at CC as Worship Pastor. Under her leadership, the worship team has grown to include a variety of accomplished singers and musicians and has recently released its third CD, “Songs from the Redeemed”, the latest of which is all original music. More importantly, Cornerstone Church has become known for its “awesome” worship services. The congregation is a worshipping congregation and the worship services are each an encounter with God. She has been the primary songwriter of the passionate music for which Cornerstone has become known.

Pastor Ann has always had a heart for training up the next generation. Over the past two decades, she has worked tirelessly to get the attention and change the direction of the “MTV” generation through the power of Jesus Christ. Winning one life at a time has produced an army of leaders in the Body of Christ at Cornerstone and beyond. The entire youth ministry at Cornerstone is now staffed entirely by those whose lives have been changed in the college/career ministry under the leadership of Pastor Ann.

She works by the side of her husband, Dr. Barry L. Burns. Their growing family consists of Jonathan, 32, Andrew, 29, his wife Jamie 28, Julianna, 25, her husband Shane, 24 and their son Hutchinson.
